Do you create custom jewellery?
Absolutely! We can create custom rings, pendants, bracelets/bangles, chains & earrings. We can customise aspects like the design, material (i.e. gold and/or silver), purity of the gold, gemstones, diamonds, clarity of gemstones and diamonds and colour of gemstones and diamonds. We can also get your watch iced-out or ice out one of our watches upon your request. Whether you wish to create an entirely unique design or whether you wish to make some modifications to an existing design, we’ve got you covered. We ask for 50% of the quoted price upfront prior to undertaking any custom orders.
Do you buy jewellery?
Yes we do. Rai Jewellery has a second-hand dealer licence and buys jewellery items including gold, silver, loose gemstones & diamonds, as well as watches. Under Queensland law we require 100 points of identification from the seller.
Do you accept trades in exchange of jewellery?
Yes we do! If you wish to trade any items which you believe to be of sufficient value, come see us in store and we may be able to work something out!
Do you use cubic zirconia, moissanite or lab-grown diamonds in your jewellery?
Although majority of our jewellery uses natural diamonds, we are able to use cubic zirconia, moissanite or lab-grown diamonds upon the customer’s request.
What other services do you offer?
Upon purchasing any item, we offer complimentary polishing, hallmarking (if requested) and resizing. We also provide appraisals with all of our items. If you are not purchasing from us and wish to get one of these services, we are able to carry out this work for a small fee depending on the complexity of the task. Contact us to find out more.
Do you accept lay-buys or Afterpay?
Yes we do. However, for lay-buys we require an upfront payment of at least one-third of the sale price. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks from the date of purchase and the item will be kept at the store until full payment has been made. However, it will not be on display/sale. We also accept Afterpay online and in-store.
What is your return policy?
We have a no refund policy on purchases unless there are defects within the products provided. If you wish to return a product without defect, we can only provide you with a trade for another product of the same value or we can give you store credit as long as the return is within three business days of purchase.
